The Barn
The large sitting room includes a log burning stove for cosy winter evenings, leather sofas, books, a selection of board games, maps and local guides. Guests can stargaze with the telescope in an area of very little light pollution. The barn is also equipped with a television, radio and a varied dvd collection. The kitchen (fitted December 2021) has cooker, induction hob, fridge/freezer and sink/drainer plus Nespresso coffee maker, kettle and toaster. The dining area is furnished with an oak table and chairs seating six.
Upstairs, there is one Superking and one King bedroom with Egyptian cotton sheets, fluffy towels and toiletries. A television and hairdryer are included in each bedroom. One of the bedrooms has a large oak desk for any business requirements during the stay. The superb bath and shower room with wc is of the highest standard.
Outside, the garden is a haven for wildlife with woodpeckers, owls, roe deer and foxes frequent visitors. Guests can walk from the Barn’s front door to local villages without taking to the road. Cycle from here along the Tour de France and Tour de Yorkshire routes (lockable shed for bikes available).
Crow House Barn is a perfect hideaway from the hustle and bustle, for a luxury weekend away for walking, cycling, and enjoying the countryside. Guests can relax in the peaceful surroundings and amble through the unspoilt Yorkshire Dales. Evenings can be spent soaking up the endless views across the Vale of York as far as Sutton Bank and the White Horse.
Crow House Barn is 10 miles from the elegant spa town of Harrogate and 6 miles from historic Ripon with Knaresborough and Boroughbridge close by. Ideal for The Great Yorkshire Show, Crimewriting Festival, UCI World Road Championships and events at Harrogate International Conference Centre.
